Slavné divadlo zakladatelů Jiřího Suchého a Jiřího Šlitra, kterým prošly snad všechny hvězdy našeho hudebního a hereckého nebe. První divadlo malých forem. Podle slov svého zakladatele Jiřího Suchého se divadlo drží tradicionalismu a konzervatismu. Humor, satira a lehká ironie Semaforu jsou nesmrtelné, hry, které divadlo uvedlo, jsou stále aktuální a stále baví.
