 Těžko najít někoho, kdo nezná spolek mystifikátorů - recesistů, kteří Járu Cimrmana stvořili, dostali do národního povědomí a úspěšně živí umělecký odkaz této výjimečné osobnosti na poli dramaturgickém. 

Všechny "rekonstrukce" původních Cimrmanových her jsou vesměs známy alespoň podle názvu. Divadlo je uvádí opakovaně a tím jejich úspěch umocňuje. Nenajde se v programu Žižkovského divadla taková inscenace Járy Cimrmana, která by nebyla vyprodána dlouho předem. 230 míst (164 v hledišti, 66 na balkoně) je málo. Lidé se rádi přijdou zasmát zase znovu, inteligentního laskavého humoru občas okořeněného sžíravě satirickým momentem není nikdy dost. Na jevišti ani v životě.
